We look forward to welcoming you to Maui when you’re ready to travel again! Our island has been open to visitors since mid-October. The Hawaii Safe Travels Program allows visitors to bypass the state’s mandatory quarantine if they have negative COVID-19 test results from a Trusted Testing Partner within 72 hours prior to their flight. There is no exemption yet for people who have been vaccinated, but that will likely be implemented at some time in the future if/when studies show that vaccine recipients are not able to carry and transmit the virus to others.

Meanwhile, please know that as long as there is a global pandemic, a trip to Maui will not be quite as carefree as before. Social distancing, handwashing/sanitizing, and mask-wearing are standard practices here. Masks are required by state law in all public places in Hawaii.
