ALOHA FROM MAUI!

When will Maui be welcoming visitors again? First, the good news: the state of Hawaii has controlled the COVID-19 outbreak very successfully so far (we have the lowest mortality rate in the U.S.), and this month nearly everything on Maui is starting to reopen – the beaches, parks, shops, restaurants, and attractions you know and love are beginning to gear up again. So we’re moving forward! The bad news: as the Hawaiian Islands cautiously reopen in phases, we are still not quite ready for visitors. The 14-day mandatory quarantine that is required for anyone arriving into Hawaii has been extended through June 30th, and our Governor has indicated he will likely extend the quarantine beyond that date. He has not yet announced an opening date for the islands. Our leaders want to make sure that once we open to the world again Hawaii’s residents will remain safe AND we can provide and maintain a safe destination for visitors. Please be patient as we prepare for you.

We want to welcome visitors back as soon as we possibly can, but we don’t know yet exactly when that will be. With this in mind, many Maui accommodations are accepting tentative bookings beginning in mid to late summer.
