We’re kicking off this month with a heartwarming story that embodies the spirit of Thanksgiving: the first Lāhainā home has been rebuilt! A family of four, including two little keiki, will celebrate Thanksgiving in their
new home—just seven months after beginning the permit process. What an incredible sign of
recovery and renewal during a holiday that brings loved ones together.
As December approaches, the island is coming alive with the holiday spirit. If you’re visiting this
month, here are some festive events to add to your itinerary:
🎅 Santa’s Arrival by Canoe:
Many resorts on the island offer festive cultural events, Annual Tree Lightings, and photos with a Hawaii-styled Santa. If you're staying in a condo, check out the resorts nearby for the events open to the public, or join community events at places like The Shops at Wailea and Lahaina Cannery Mall.
And don’t miss the grand display of fireworks on New Years Eve in front of the Four Seasons to ring in 2024! Let Maui’s aloha and warm community make this holiday season unforgettable!
Mele Kalikimaka and Hauʻoli Makahiki Hou! (Merry Christmas and Happy New Year)!
Safe Travels,
Tiffany
