Autumn has arrived, and while Maui may not see the golden leaves of fall, we’re treated to something even more spectacular—the fiery orange and red hues of our stunning sunsets. October is one of the best times to visit Hawai'i, especially with fewer
crowds and more availability at your favorite restaurants, tours, and activities. Plus, with shoulder season rates, you’ll find some of the best deals on accommodations!
Maui’s recovery from the August 2023 wildfire continues to progress. We’re proud to share that 100% of residential properties have already been cleared, well ahead of the projected January 2025 deadline. Next, the focus shifts to clearing commercial properties by February 2025 and completing vital projects like the 169-unit Kilohana temporary housing for displaced survivors, which is set to be finished by the end of October.
This October is quieter than usual due to the slower levels of tourism to Maui, but it’s the perfect time for mindful travelers to visit and support the community during this period. Maui’s warm aloha spirit is
still here, ready to welcome you with open arms. We hope to see you soon, and as always, mahalo for your continued support. Aloha!
Safe Travels,
Tiffany
